Gingham Bow Skirt

I've got Spring on the brain, how about y'all? I'm dying to break out all those pretty floral dresses and open toe shoes. Unfortunately mother nature hasn't got the memo and that has me seriously lacking in the inspiration department. If you're like me, this time of year it's easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to your wardrobe. You're still trying to get wear out of all your winter favorites but at the same time feeling completely over them. Adding one fun new piece like this Chicwish Gingham Bow Skirt can break up the monotony and give you a fresh look at your closet. That's exactly what I did here. These are items I've been wearing all season long and some I've had long past that. Mixed with this adorable little skirt, I was able to put together an entirely new chic ensemble. Not to mention how cute this skirt will be styled in the warmer months as well. Wear now wear then, it's a win win that will have your wallet thanking you because it's currently on sale and less than $50! Size up one as it does run a little small. Found my thigh high boots 50% off at a few retailers too. They're super comfy, stretch to fit all calf sizes and actually stay up on your leg. Highly recommend snagging now for next season while they're still on sale!

I just shot the cutest pinafore dress from Chicwish too that will be up on the blog very soon! So stay tuned I think y'all are going to Love it!

Super Soft Chenille Sweater

Happy Monday babes!! Partnering with Southern Roots TX to bring you today's post and the coziest sweater of all time! I've literally worn this pullover almost everyday since I received it last week. It's just that good y'all! It's perfectly oversized fit (I'm wearing a size S for reference) makes it great for staying comfy while running around town or lounging at the house and might I add, looking super cute while doing so ;) This chenille material has been really popular this season and with good reason. It's just so ridiculously soft, I promise you're never going want to take it off. I love the velvety texture it adds to a look as well. I was immediately drawn to this gorgeous rose hue (also comes in a light grey here). It looks great paired with creamy neutrals as I styled above, dark wash denim or try layering it over a floral print dress with otk boots. So many options and at under $50, definitely a piece you're going to want to add to your closet!

Shout-out to my sweet hubby too for surprising me with these cute Steve Madden booties as an early Valentines gift. My favorite Vince Camuto pair I wear all the time are finally and completely worn out. I've been complaining about how I can't find a pair that I love as much as them. Comfy enough to wear all day, with a thick block heel and a light taupe shade that will go with everything. Pretty sure he nailed it with these wouldn't you agree? He definitely knows the way to my heart, bag and shoes! 💗

Hope you lovelies have a great start to the week!

Fluffy Off the Shoulder Sweater

Fluffy Off the Shoulder Sweater - More Color Options here & here // BaubleBar Tassel Earrings // Oversize Fringe Scarf // White Skinny Jeans // Vince Camuto Over the Knee Boots - Similar here

Happy Monday loves!! Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! Our 60 degree weather didn't last very long, so hubby and I spend most of the day Saturday snuggled up on the couch. We did get out to do a little shopping yesterday though. Let me tell you if you haven't been to Pier 1 lately, don't go! They're are so many cute things out for spring you'll want to buy the entire store. Haha Thankfully when Dustin is with me I'm able to control myself a little better. ;)  I did snag a bunch of great pieces for my spring tablescape. I'll share a pic of the finished look with you soon.

I've partnered with Chicwish again this week to bring you this pretty winter outfit. This powder blue sweater paired with white denim and accessories against the snow, kind of has me feeling like an ice princess. Blue has always been one of my favorite colors to wear but this shade... ahhh just so gorgeous! It's made of a soft fluffy knit so it's really cozy too but it's also lightweight enough that it will transition right into spring. It comes in white and a fun bright yellow as well. It's currently 25% off making it around $50! My chunky knit scarf is also on sale with an additional 50% off at checkout. It's one of my favorites this season and at $15 I plan to get all 4 colors.

If you're interested in details on today's makeup look, tune into my Instagram account this evening. I'll be sharing what products I've been using (and LOVING) to get this natural-looking coverage, while also improving the look and feel of my skin.

Pearl Embellished Sweater Dress

Pearl Embellished Sweater Dress - More Color Options here & here //
BaubleBar Ear Crawlers- Similar here & here // Faux Fur Stole // Similar Metallic Belt //
Steve Madden Thigh High Boots here & here

Hey there friends! I know it's been a while since my last post. Life has been a little crazy for this Hendrix family after the holidays. On top of that it's been brutally cold and the winter storm that hit the east coast brought us a foot of snow, making it a little difficult to get out and shoot. Cabin fever set in something bad y'all haha. Thankfully things are settling down and temps are warming back up, so I'll be back to a regular posting schedule.

With all this dreamy winter wonderland, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to break out this Chicwish sweater dress. The pearl embellished sleeves remind me of  little snowflake crystals. It's made of a really thick knit too so it's rather warm. It does run very oversize (I'm 5'7 wearing a S/M for reference) so I suggest sizing down if you can or wearing it belted like I did for a more tapered fit. I also added this gorgeous fur stole to elevate the look. You can wear it a couple of different ways, around the neck, draped over your arms or try this high fashion approach, belted across one shoulder.

This pretty dress is currently on sale for 25% off and comes in a few other colors but hurry because they're are only a few of each size left!!

Winter Whites & Cozy Flannels

f

It's Friday peeps!! Whooo hoo! Extra excited because hubby is off today and we're having a wrapping party at our house. Hot cocoa, more Christmas movies and lots and lots of presents going under the tree! Does anyone else enjoy wrapping the gifts more than picking them out? It can be hard to find just the right present for everyone but once you do and then get to make them all pretty with bows and ribbons, that's definitely my favorite part! Dustin was sweet enough to let me open one of my gifts early, knowing that I would want to wear them with all my holiday/winter looks. These Sorel Conquest Wedge Booties are not only the cutest little things but they're super comfortable and guaranteed to keep your toes nice and toasty. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stylish yet waterproof winter boot.

Since these boots kind of have that whole cozy cabin, lumberjill vibe my first thought was to pair them with a cute flannel. When I spotted this plaid at Southern Roots TX I knew I had to have it. Blue is one of my favorite colors to wear and y'all this material is just so ridiculously soft!! It's roomy enough too that you could layer a thermal underneath. I decided to keep the look simple with just a chunky scarf and my favorite skinny jeans. Comfy and basic but oh so adorable!! ;)

This top is sure to sell out fast, so whether you love it for yourself or think it would make a great gift, hurry and snag it while you can! Remember holiday shipping cut off is the 17th. Hope y'all have a fun weekend!
