Plaid Trench Dress

Happy Monday guys! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Sharing a look at this great dress from Dezzal today. This is such a fun twist on a classic plaid shirtdress! The belted waist and "trench jacket" style gives it a more sophisticated vibe. It does run on the shorter side which made pairing these OTK boots with it the perfect combo. I just love how it moves (if you can't tell from all the twirling I did during the photos haha) and it looks equally as cute worn as jacket. Definitely a great investment piece for fall! If you haven't heard of Dezzal yet you must check them out! They carry lots of unique and fashion forward runway styles. I will also be styling this super cool embellished jacket I received from them very soon, so stay tuned!

Two Ways to Wear Printed Dresses for Fall

Boho Printed Dress // Similar Faux Fur Vest here // Vince Camuto Shoulder Bag & More Options here // Similar Suede Over the Knee Boots here // Vince Camuto Booties & More Options herehere //

Sorry for the late post guys! Hubby has been on a business trip in CA this week, so it's been up to me to get everything finalized for our vacation tomorrow. I've been running around like crazy today finishing last minute errands before I pick him up from the airport tonight. Finally got a chance to sit down and write today's post.

Fall is officially here but since it still remains warm for a while, I wanted to show you two ways you can wear this (under $20) printed dress. This dress is already such a steal but with these different styling options you will more than get your moneys worth! I get a lot of questions about the retailer where this dress is sold, I have ordered from here a couple times and had good success with all of my purchases. They offer very on trend styles as well as dupes for a lot of designer pieces. Sizing usually runs a little large. I ordered this dress in a S and should have went with XS. Shipping is pretty quick for outside of the U.S. but I always choose the expedited option and purchase shipping insurance (only $0.99). Quality is decent especially for the price but I just buy trendy pieces or items I know I'll only wear a season or two from here, so I'm not to worried about it lasting forever. Hope this helps!

Even though I'll be gone next week, I've got content already scheduled for you guys so be sure to check back! You can also follow my blog with Bloglovin (below or on the sidebar) and receive an email update each time a post goes live! I will also keep you updated throughout our New England road-trip on Instagram. :)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Early Fall Transitional Layers

Plaid Shirtdress // Sole Society Wool Hat // Similar Utility Jacket herehere // Structured Satchel Bag // Leather Watch // Vince Camuto Booties & More options here & here

I can't get enough of little plaid dresses like this in the fall. Throw on a lightweight layering piece, add some booties and a few accessories and you've got the perfect mix of cute and casual. This particular dress is from one of my absolute favorite online boutiques The Pink Lily Boutique. They always have the most on trend, stylish pieces and at such good prices! The color of this buffalo plaid and the fact that it has pockets (I LOVE dresses with pockets!) is what sold me but once I received the dress I was blown away by the quailty, espesially for only $48. Girls this is definitely one your going to want to add to your closet!

Hope y'all are having a good week! I'm counting the days till we leave for Vermont. So excited to see some autumn foliage and enjoy some real fall temps (it's been in the 50's and 60's there this week!) Packing all my cozy sweaters, vests and a new pair of boots I can't wait to show you guys. Stay tuned ;)

Floral Bell Sleeve Blouse

Floral Top // Open Front Cardigan // Wool Hat // Similar Denim Button Front Skirt here & here  //  Lariat Choker // Satchel Crossbody Bag // Leather Watch // Similar Pointy Toe Booties hereherehere //

It was love at first sight with this floral blouse! I have talked a lot lately about floral and bell sleeves trending for fall but pair those together and you have the perfect top! I initially was going to wear it alone with flare jeans but after spotting this cardigan in an almost exact matching shade, I knew I wanted to incorporate it somehow into my look. Opting for a more transitional outfit I went with my favorite denim mini and booties. This structured satchel and leather watch are two of the newest additions to my accessory collection. The bag is from a great new company called Poverty Flats. They feature the seasons hottest new styles in handbags and other accessories. Definitely check them out! The contrast between the leather and white face in this Tokyo Bay watch is so striking! It really is such a classic piece that will work well with almost any ensemble.

Have a great start to your week guys!!

Denim Utility Romper & Fall Must-Have Accessories

Similar Denim Romper hereherehere // Similar Wool Fedora here // Chokers herehere // Similar Guitar Bag Strap hereherehere // Similar Satchel Bag here // Similar Booties here & here

We made it to Friday guys!! Woo hoo! What are your plans for the weekend? I'm going to be spending mine packing & finalizing details of our upcoming vacation. So excited to be heading to cooler weather and enjoy some changing fall foliage (hopefully) as we road-trip through New England. We plan on spending most of our time in Vermont. Do you guys have any suggestions of places we should see or things to do while we are there? Thanks in advance!

In today's post I'm sharing some of my favorite "of the moment accessories". Chokers are HUGE right now and whether you prefer more simple delicate pieces or layering on lots of different lengths and silhouettes, adding this accessory to your collection is a must! Charming Charlie has you covered on this front! Tons of styles and all at super affordable prices!

A few posts back I mentioned how much I was obsessing over the guitar strap trend and how I found and lost out on one at T.J Maxx. Well after many trips and visiting several different stores I scored this embroidered beauty! Its such a fun addition to any outfit and changes the look of all your bags. I linked a few options that I found available online but its definitely worth your time to check out your local T.J or Marshalls, since they are about half the price!

Thanks for reading and I hope y'all have the best weekend!!

Fall Uniform

Sweater Tunic // Leopard Scarf // Similar Wool Hat here // Vince Camuto Bag // Similar Coated Jean here //  Leather Watch // Similar Over the Knee Boots here //

There is nothing I love more than a great tunic and blanket scarf combo for fall! It's just so cozy and perfect for throwing on over a pair of leggings and boots. This Meritt Clothing Label one from Impressions Boutique is the most amazing shade of merlot and is a great deal at a price point of just under $40! It's oversized fit also allows you to wear it off the shoulder with a cute lace bralette showing underneath. I paired it with a few of the newest accessories I've received, this ($26!!) leopard scarf and my new favorite watch from Tokyo Bay Inc. A classic timepiece that will go with everything!

Whats your fall uniform? I'd love to hear what styles you wear on the regular in the cooler months!
Have a great day guys!!

Transitioning Summer Whites Into Fall

While the "no white after labor day" rule is no longer in affect, sometimes it's hard to know just how to style these summery pieces for the cooler months. In today's post I'm showing one easy way to take your all white ensemble into fall. I always start by pairing this kind of look with neutral accessories, something that will compliment any other pieces you choose. Then I focus on layering. Adding a boyfriend cardigan and a patterned scarf really helps to differentiate between what kind of seasonal look your going for. The colors in this plaid scarf work well to pull the entire outfit together, while the pattern adds a great contrast.

Just like that you've nailed this fresh new trend! I'm a big fan of white for fall and winter so expect to see many more ways to style it over the next couple months. Thanks for stopping by and hope your Monday is going well!
