Smile Brilliant Review and Teeth Whitening Giveaway

Ever heard the saying "a smile is a girl's best accessory"? I truly believe that the key to any great outfit is having a beautiful smile to go with it. Nothing can kill your confidence faster though than insecurities about your teeth. For me that was having a lackluster smile. Let's be honest who of us doesn't want a brighter, more vivid smile? I've tried lots of teeth whitening products in the past and none of them really worked for me. They either weren't able to provide the results I wanted or caused so much tooth sensitivity I had to quit using them. I thought of giving professional whitening a try but never could bring myself to pay the insane amount (on average $650) it costs to have it done. When Smile Brilliant approached me about trying out their custom fitted trays which included a gel for sensitivity, I was so excited! I've had great success with this product and wanted to share with you my results as well as offer 5% off your purchase (use code whatcourtwore05) of a at home whitening system for yourself! Also Smile Brilliant is generously giving one of my readers a chance to try out this system for FREE! Giveaway instructions and entry are at the end of this post.

In today's post I'm going to briefly explain what to expect when you receive your kit and how the whitening process works. Below is a picture of what your initial whitening system looks like. You'll start by making impressions for your custom fitted trays. These molds are the key to getting that perfect fit, so unlike other whitening brands the actually stay on! Read more about the benefits these trays provide here
Once you've finished creating your impressions you'll mail them back in the pre-paid envelope and the tray creation begins. It's a very quick process, it only took a few days for me to receive mine back!

Now time to start whitening! You'll be provided with detailed instructions on how to apply the whitening gel, as well as duration info. The best part for me was not having to be committed to an exact time frame. Some days I had less than hour before I had to leave the house or got so busy I forgot to whiten all together. If you find yourself in the same position, don't sweat it. This system is so great you will literally see results right away whether you get to whiten the full allotted time each day or not.

As I mentioned earlier tooth sensitivity was my number one complaint with whitening products. If you have ever suffered with any form of discomfort yourself, I strongly encourage you to purchase the desensitizing gel! This stuff was a life saver for me!! Apply each time after you whiten for 15-30 min and not only will it alleviate pain but it prevents future staining that can occur from the open pores that the whitening treatment caused. Don't just take my word for it check out the beautiful Kelli Tanner's YouTube review or read more testimonials here.

The syringes come in sets of 3, 6 or 9 with your kit but you can also purchase refill sets here Whitening & Desensitizing

Whiten on your commute to work, while you get ready in the morning, cooking dinner or catching up on social media before bed. These trays form so well to your teeth you won't even notice your wearing them!

Check out my Real unaltered results below! These were taken after only eight sessions! Please excuse my super white face in the after photo, girlfriend lost her summer tan. Haha

The Perfect Ruffle Top For Fall

Floppy Wool Hat & Another Cute Option here // Leopard Blanket Scarf & More Options herehere // Ruffle Hem Top // Structured Satchel Bag // Similar White Skinny Jeans here // Similar Grey Booties here & here

Sharing a look I wore over the weekend with you today. Living on the coast now makes finding fall foliage a little more difficult, so every year around this time we head to Willamsburg, VA. It is such a quaint little town full of history with lots of areas to get out, walk around and enjoy the beautiful fall season! We had such a fun time and even got to make some new friends with the neighboring horses (check out my Instagram post).

As you may know, I'm a huge fan of white jeans for autumn/winter! As soon as I saw this ruffle hem top I knew I wanted to pair it with white denim to really make this beautiful shade pop. Even though it's a more basic piece the detailing makes this top a statement on it's own. Add a few fun accessories and your good to go. I just love effortless little outfits like this, don't you? Be sure to check out the whole Shop Stevie Boutique when shopping this cutie because my followers receive 15% off their entire purchase with code COURT15. Talk about a humpday treat! ;)

Thanks for stopping by and hope y'all have a great Wednesday!!

Pumpkin Patch Trip 2

The weekend comes and goes too quickly. It was a fun one though! Hubby was off both Friday and Sunday this week so we spent the first part making another pumpkin patch run and then went strolling around Williamsburg, VA. The historic downtown and campus are always so pretty in the fall and the weather was superb! Ended the weekend with some scary movies and pumpkin carving. What did you do this weekend? Any fun plans for Halloween?

I've been itching to wear this sweater for over a month now. Since it sold out about two days after I purchased it, I wanted to wait until I could find a sufficient alternative before sharing with you guys. Well I found a really good one (comes in petite sizes as well as black) and the best part it's significantly cheaper. The great thing about these sweaters is the endless ways to wear them! Try the one shoulder like I'm rocking above or as a cowl neck layered with a cute poncho. Ok now on to these boots! I literally have to stop myself from wearing them with every outfit. The heel works well to dress up any look yet they are still Super comfy! I like wearing them tall like this were they hit right at the knee but you can also wear them "slouchy" which looks really cute with dresses. The quality can't be beat especially for under $200! I truly mean that ladies!! I'm in love :)

I also have some exciting news for y'all! I'm partnering with Daniel Wellington to offer you an exclusive discount. Their new line of  black watches are so sleek and stylish! I've always been a fan of these classic timepieces and so excited to add both this leather one as well as this fun and girly one into my collection. Receive all your favorites 15% off with code WHATCOURTWORE.

Wishing you a wonderful Monday!

Current Fall Favorites- Boho Edition

Happy Friday lovelies!! Hubby is off work today and I've talked him into taking me to the pumpkin patch again, it's going to be a good day! ;) Sharing a quick post of some my favorite fall pieces of the moment. I've been gravitating towards more boho inspired styles as of late, so I thought it would be fun to put together a few outfit ideas for you including these items. Everything pictured is shop-able by just clicking on that particular piece!

Look #1 - Fur stoles are making a comeback again this year! I purchased an almost identical version of this scarf last year and plan on layering it over faux leather jackets like this one or ponchos. You can wear both over this Free People printed dress paired with these fabulous over the knee boots, for the epitome of boho chic!

Look #2 - While these faux leather leggings aren't exactly bohemian fashion they are an absolute must for your fall wardrobe! Pair with this aztec print cardigan and lace up booties for an edgier take on this style.

Look #3 - I just purchased this floral tunic in blue (linking below) and plan on styling it very similar to pictured above.

Look #4 - I've been searching high and low for a double sided belt like this that doesn't break the bank! This one is super similar to the designer styles but only $33! While both it and these Dolce Vita booties have a more western feel paired with a flowy printed blouse inspire all the free spirit vibes.

How to Tie and Style a Blanket Scarf

I've had several requests lately for a blanket scarf tutorial, so today I'm partnering with Ily Mix to show you a few of my favorite ways to tie and wear these scarfs. We are also gifting one lucky reader a scarf of their choice from Ily Mix boutique for both them and their bestie!! To register for the giveaway click on the entry form at the bottom of this post and fill in all required fields. Winner will be chosen at random via Rafflecopter and will be announced on 10/27/16. Good luck!

 The Classic

This style works best with the traditional square scarf. Start by unfolding the scarf completely.

Then fold the scarf into a triangle.

Wrap around neck like so.

Bringing both end pieces around the front.

And, voila! By far the easiest and most popular way to wear this scarf!

 The Halfway Loop

Start by doubling the scarf over.

Wrap around neck like so.

Bring one end piece through the loop end.

Then pull on the loop to make it look more full as well as the other end piece. So cute right?! Here are a few more options for you to try.

The Poncho

The Belted Vest

The Shawl

How to Wear a Utility Vest

Smocked Collar Dress // Cable Knit Sweater // Similar Utility Vest here // Michael Kors Watch // GiGi New York Satchel Bag & More Options herehere // Vince Camuto Booties & More Options here & here

Happy Monday babes!! I'm teaming up with one of my blogger besties Laura of Walking in Memphis in High Heels, to show you two different ways to style a utility vest. How adorable does she and daughter Leighton look in their matching graphic hoodies and faux leather leggings? Cuteness overload! My fail-safe (as is probably most of y'alls)  is paring this vest with a plaid shirt and jeans but today's post is focusing on just how versatile it can be.

Fall is the season for layering so taking advantage of the cool "autumn" weather we've had this week I added this cozy sweater into the mix. I have so many cable knits especially in cream but I couldn't pass on this asymmetrical hem! Such a fun twist on a staple piece, plus it's only $30! A great trick for maximizing your wardrobe is combining lightweight spring/summer dresses (mine is currently on sale!) with your cool weather essentials, as styled above. This will also give you that unexpected but oh so chic, feminine meets masculine pairing.

How do you wear a utility vest? I'd love to hear in the comments below and be sure to check out my girl Laura's post today to get all the details on her mom and me look!

Apple Picking

Similar Plaid Vest hereherehere // Stripe Tee // Similar Sweater here // Leather Watch // Skinny Jeans & Similar Pair here // J.Crew Camp Socks // Bean Boots //

October truly is the best month of the year! From pumpkin patches, hayrides, football season, autumn scented candles, fall foliage drives, pumpkin flavored everything, I could go on and on. One activity I had yet to mark off my fall bucket list was apple picking, so a few weeks ago we visited the cutest orchard in Charlottesville, VA. If your local or live close check them out, Carter Mountain Orchard. Situated a top the mountain in the most picturesque setting overlooking the town, Shenandoah Valley and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Not only did we have a fun time picking but we sampled and purchased every apple product they had. The hot cider and apple butter (spread on a warm biscuit!) are absolutely scrumptious!! I can't wait to visit again in the warmer months when strawberries and peaches are in season!

What is your favorite fall activity?
